As announced in the May 2008 ARC Music newsletter, two tracks from the label will be featured in the long awaited and eagerly anticipated new installment of Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster “Indiana Jones” movies, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

The movie will feature Russian folk music from ARC Music album Best of Russian Folk Songs. Tracks that will be heard in the movie are popular Russian folk songs by the Balalaika Ensemble “Wolga”. The unique sounds of the balalaikas and the strong deep voices of the Russian singers truly express the culture of Russia.

The ARC Music catalogue has already been employed by the movie and television industries extensively. The label’s music has also been featured in Steven Spielberg’s epic “Munich”, the internationally acclaimed latest James Bond “Casino Royale”, and most recently the action-packed film “The Kingdom.”
