From her start at the age of 13 in the cafés of San Francisco, Lhasa has distinguished herself as a singular musical voice, whether singing in Spanish, French, or English. After years of silence, nomadic Lhasa has returned, with new songs for her beautifully luminescent voice. Full of melancholy and humor, her lyrics are carried by timeless and irresistible melodies with a surprising maturity. Her 2003 album, The Living Road, was awarded the BBC World Music Award for the Americas category.
