Bjork's Swan Dress to Be Auctioned for Charity

Bjork startled viewers of the 2001 Axademy Awards program by appearing in an oversized swan dress. That fashion item, along with other celebrity duds, will be auctioned on Ebay. Proceeds will benefit the OXFAM relief agency.

The swan dress worn by Icelandic singer Bjork to the 2001 Oscars ceremony is being put up fot auction on Ebay, with the proceeds going to the international aid agency OXFAM. The dress ruffled some feathers when the flamboyant singer wore it on the awards program. Some 150 other celebrity fashion items will also be auctioned, including Yoko Ono's sunglasses and a pair of Stella McCartney's thigh-high fake leather boots. Online bidding will be held Sept. 18-25, coinciding with London Fashion Week.

In addition, Bjork has conmposed the soundtrack to Drawing Restraint 9, a film by Matthew Barney.
