Matisyahu To Play Biggest-Ever Headlining Shows
Published August 18, 2005

Hasidic reggae phenom paying large halls in NYC and L.A.

Reggae sensation Matisyahu will headline his biggest venues to date in New York and L.A. this fall (Webster Hall and House of Blues, respectively) as part of a two-week whirlwind tour of the U.S. that also includes shows in San Francisco, Phoenix, Seattle, Dallas, and Nashville. These venues are a huge jump for Matisyahu, who just one year ago was performing in the clubs of Brooklyn, and more recently sold out BB King's and Irving Plaza in New York. The tour comes in support of the re-release of his breakthrough album Live at Stubb's (Epic/Or Music/Jdub), currently the #4 album on the Billboard Reggae chart. Hot indie rock trio Mobius Band will support on all dates. Matisyahu is also busy preparing his new studio album, due out on Epic/Or Music/Jdub later this year.
