California Brazil Camp
August 21, 2005 - September 3, 2005

Classes in Brazilian music and dance, and no need to fly to Brazil.

California Brazil Camp, a full immersion Brazilian music and dance experience in the redwoods of Northern California, offers week-long classes in a variety of Brazilian music and dance styles, as well as special performances and impromptu jams. From percussion to dance, jazz to choro, guitar to cavaquinho to mandolin, we've assembled some of the best teachers in their fields for a truly enriching and authentic Brazilian music and dance experience. Faculty this year include Guinga, Jorge Alabe, Hamilton de Holanda, Tanya Santiago, Gamo da Paz, Paula Reis, Michael Spiro, Arnaldinho do Cavaco and many more.

Due to the popularity of the program, California Brazil Camp has added a second session in 2005, our 8th annual California Brazil Camp. Session one of CBC runs from August 21st to August 27th, and session two from August 28th to September 3rd. Tuition for a single session is only $775, which includes all classes, three delicious meals a day, and tent-style lodging. Special pricing is available for fewer days, or for two sessions. We can also accommodate all those who wish to attend, including part-time and day campers who are unable to commit to a full week. Please join us and others from around the U.S. and the world for an energized week (or two!) of fun and learning.
