Musicians For Harmony To Mark 9/11 With Concert For Peace In NYC

Artists scheduled to perform include The Shanghai Quartet, Kinan Azmeh, and Karim Wasfi. 

Musicians For Harmony was founded in the wake of September 11, 2001, to foster and advance peace and dialogue among individuals of different cultures, ethnicities and religions through musical performances, educational activities and cross-cultural exchange. Over the years, they have received support from world renowned musicians such as the Guarneri, Juilliard, Orion, and Shanghai Quartets, pianists Claude Frank, Leon Fleisher, Anne-Marie McDermott, and Jonathan Biss, violinist Anne Akiko Meyers and cellist Carter Brey.
