Legends Of Salsa: A Celebration Of Salsa And Tropical Music

The Lehman Center for the Performing Arts present Legends of Salsa on Saturday, April 26th. Performers include Bobby Cruz and special guest Richie Ray (pictured).

On Saturday, April 26, the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts will present Legends of Salsa, a celebration of four decades of salsa and tropical music history. Beginning at 8 p.m., Soneros Adalberto Santiago, Lalo Rodriguez and Bobby Cruz, along with timbaleros Orestes Vilato, Nicky Marrero and Mike Collazo, will each take the stage to perform their most popular hit songs. The Jimmy Delgado Orchestra will accompany each performance after opening the show with Renzo Padilla. Special guests Richie Ray, Luis “Perico” Ortiz, Andy Gonzalez, and Johnny “Dandy” Rodriguez will unite onstage for the finale.

Tickets for Legends of Salsa range from $40 to $55 and can be purchased by calling the Lehman Center box office at (718) 960-8833 (open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or online at www.LehmanCenter.org. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the box office window beginning at noon the day of the performance. Located on the Lehman College campus on Bedford Park Boulevard in the Bronx, free parking will be available.
