On My Mind
VP

Kingston, Jamaica native Da’Ville is one of dancehall’s most promising rising stars and On My Mind tops charts across the globe with hits like “Can’t Get Over You” and “Always On My Mind,” which features Sean Paul. The album is filled with tunes that will get all the ladies and gents winding on the dance floor, while songs like “My Grade” and “My Heart” incorporate more traditional reggae sounds. “I’m In Love With You” and “Give It Up For My Baby” will lull you into a lover’s open arms with acoustic guitar and violin. By contrast, “Give Thanks For What You’ve Got” (featuring a guitar riff that cries with emotion) offers a socially conscious message calling for us to be thankful for what we have, and “lift a finger” to help those less fortunate. This album is a prime example of what happens when R&B, pop and reggae bear a love child.
