Norteno music legends Conjunto Primavera kicks off 2008 by celebrating their 30th anniversary

Conjunto Primavera will celebrate with a magnificent concert at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE in the heart of downtown Los Angeles on Friday, February 22, 2008.

Who better than Conjunto Primavera to be the first Regional Mexican act to perform at this incredible state of the art venue located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.
 
On this special night Conjunto Primavera will showcase their signature sound of heartfelt Norte–o/Romantic songs filtered through a pop scope led by the gifted voice of Tony MelŽndez.
 
The group's musical prowess and humbleness has earned them the admiration and respect from millions of fans in the United States and Mexico. Originally from the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, Juan Dominguez (musical director and sax player) founded the group on March 21, 1978.
 
High powered airplay, magnificent sales and sold out concerts the group has experienced a gradual ascension on their path to superstardom three decades later the group continues to enjoy extraordinary success and award recognition.
 
In recent years Conjunto Primavera has placed  15 songs -more than any group- at No.1 on Billboards' 'Regional Mexican Airplay' chart and four No. 1 on 'Hot Latin Songs' a chart that also includes Pop & Reggaeton genres.
 
In addition to radio play, the group has placed three albums at No. 1 on Billboard's 'Top Latin Albums' chart and 13 albums at Top 10, evidencing their incredible popularity.
 
Conjunto Primavera will end this year by finalizing their U.S. and Mexico tour dates while simultaneously gearing up for the recording of their new studio album due out early 2008.
 
No doubt about it, 2007 has been an incredible year for Conjunto Primavera who received a Latin GRAMMY(r) nomination as well as performing at the awards ceremony held a few weeks ago in Las Vegas, Nevada.
 
Lastly, the group was invited at the second annual Billboard 'Regional Mexican Summit' where they participated in a 'Q&A' panel sharing their story highlighting their achievements as one of the premier Regional Mexican recordings artists.
