Sinéad O'Connor Prepares U.S. Tour To Support Theology
Published August 27, 2007

Sinéad O’Connor kicks off her 15-date North American fall tour on September 16 at San Francisco's Davies Symphony Hall.

Irish singer Sinead O'Connor returns to North America this fall to back her latest album, the double-disc Theology. Released in June on Koch Records, the album follows her 2005 reggae-driven comeback Throw Down Your Arms.

"Theology is an attempt to create a place of peace in a time of war," O'Connor said in a press release. "It is my own personal response to what has taken place and is affecting everyone around the world since and including September 11, 2001. I simply wanted to make a beautiful thing which inspires me."

Opening act for all dates will be Irish singer/songwriter Damien Dempsey.
