Soda Stereo Announces Exclusive Concert For West Coast In LA
Published August 6, 2007

Triple Producciones and POP Art in conjunction with Goldenvoice announced Nov. 21 as Latin Rock group Soda Stereo's only U.S. concert date on West Coast.

Triple Producciones and POP Art in conjunction with Goldenvoice announced the date for the only concert by Soda Stereo on the West Coast of the United States: this coming November 21 at The Home Depot Center, home to Los Angeles Galaxy and Chivas USA. Ten years after their last live show, Gustavo, Zeta and Charly, the three members of the legendary Soda Stereo, one of the most influential Latin Rock groups of all times, have decided to celebrate with a series of concerts that will begin in October in their home country of Argentina. These initial dates broke two historic records: five sold out concerts at the Argentine River Plate stadium, and selling 90,000 tickets in the first day. This phenomenon has been repeated for the rest of the confirmed concert dates in México, Chile and Colombia, where tickets were sold out just a few days after going on sale. This tour, which will finalize by the end of the year, has been awaited by hundreds of thousands of multi-generation fans. Starting in 2008, Gustavo, Zeta and Charly anticipate their return to their individual activities. To date, no personal or group interviews are being foreseen with Soda Stereo, although, on a date to be confirmed, the Soda's will offer, in Buenos Aires, a one and only press conference for national and international press. Tickets for the LA performance will be purchasable starting August 10th at all the Ritmo Latino stores and Ticket Master.
