New York Welcomes An Evening Of Sacred Sounds And Peaceful Intentions

The new "Super Green Drink" presents a night of positive energy and charity for PEACE X PEACE, a non-profit group dedicated to building equal rights for women around the globe.

Cell-nique, a new health drink, is sponsoring an evening of sacred sounds, poetry and peaceful intentions on Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, from 7 p.m.-11 p.m. The event will be held in the Allen Room of Frederick P. Rose Hall, New York’s home of Jazz at Lincoln Center.

An intimate event with inspirational speeches and performances, “Cell-nique Presents: An Evening of Sacred Sounds and Peaceful Intentions” will encourage audience participation. Proceeds from the event will go to PEACE X PEACE (www.peacexpeace.org), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the status of women around the world and building sustainable peace.

Highlights from the evening’s program include:

Snatam Kaur – The internationally acclaimed band from the “Celebrate Peace Tour”
Girish – New age musician from the “Shiva Machine Tour”
Aine Minogue – Top-ranked angelic Celtic musician
Half Angels – Emerging soulful band
Mariam Lodin – Islamic Slam Poet
Patricia Smith Melton – Founder of PEACE X PEACE
