Presented by Yahoo! Telemundo, produced by famed music figures Gary Kurfirst & Chris Blackwell, and with acclaimed producer Andres Levin acting as music director, The Musica Fresca Tour will also introduce new Latin rock band Radio Mundial.

Starting in September as the country celebrates Latin culture with Hispanic Heritage Month, THE MUSICA FRESCA (Fresh Music) TOUR will showcase bands on the leading edge of modern Latin music fusion.  Acclaimed New York producer Andres Levin (acting as music director), has teamed with the event production team of industry legends Gary Kurfirst (Talking Heads, Ramones, Jane’s Addiction) and Chris Blackwell (Bob Marley, U2, Founder Island Records & Films) and presenting sponsor Yahoo! Telemundo to stage a national tour celebrating performers that fuse the diverse traditional sounds of Latin Music’s heritage with the modern sound of today’s urban cities.

Already set to co-headline THE MUSICA FRESCA TOUR are urban-regional pioneers AKWID, electrifying Reggaeton lyricist VOLTIO and Levin’s own celebrated Latin-funk collective YERBA BUENA.  These three critically-praised headliners showcase the unique sounds of fusion happening across the Latin music spectrum in Los Angeles, New York and Puerto Rico.  Concert audiences will experience distinctive combinations where Hip-Hop meets the brass soun
