LATV En Concierto, a popular bilingual youth network, continues another season to bring viewers performances by Latin and non-Latin artists alike in an intimate setting: en vivo.
LATV was singled out by the New York Times for its support of the Latin alternative genre in a cover story about the musical movement. The program's content is predominantly in English, targeting bilingual Latino youth.
Presently, LATV is the only network airing on basic cable in Los Angeles that reaches the highly sought-after bicultural demographic.
Among the most notable artists scheduled to perform are Julieta Venegas, Jeremias, Bebe, Jeannie Ortega, Lucybell, Sidestepper, and David Garza.
LATV will return to the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) in New York City in early August, where it will deliver to viewers exclusive artist interviews as well as live performances from all of the major shows.
