Manu Chao Launches U.S. Summer Tour

Genre-hopping Latin artist Manu Chao will be touring the U.S. for the first time in five years in late July and early August. Chao recently toured Latin America to rapturous response, including a show at Mexico City's Palacio de los Deportes in front of 18,000 fans. He also played Guadalajara, Caracas, Santiago and many other cities.

Manu Chao, former leader of genre-hopping 1980s group Mano Negra and artist behind the critically acclaimed albums "Clandestino," "Proxima Estacion: Esperanza" and "Radio Bemba Sound System Live," will be embarking on a short U.S. tour, his first in five years, in July.
Chao recently toured Latin America to rapturous response, including a show at Mexico City's Palacio de los Deportes in front of 18,000 fans. He also played Guadalajara, Caracas, Santiago and many other cities.
