New Orleans’ annual Jazz and Heritage Festival will return to its longtime Fair Grounds home this spring. As previously reported, Jazz Fest will take place from April 28 to May 7, featuring both local New Orleans entertainers and a range of international performers. According to a recent Associated Press interview with producer Quint Davis, the Shell Oil Company has signed on as the festival's first-ever presenting sponsor and veteran Big Easy performer Fats Domino will be among the festival's marquee names. New Orleans' Fair Grounds were significantly damaged during hurricane Katrina, but will be reopened by the festival's April 28 kickoff date. For more information please visit www.nojazzfest.com/.
