New Album 'Youth' out in 2006 on Epic/Or Music/JDub

Matisyahu is closing out 2005 with a dash up the Billboard charts on the strength of his smash single 'King Without A Crown.' For the second straight week he holds the #1 spot on the heatseekers chart, while 'Live at Stubbs' (Epic/Or Music/JDub) is back at the #2 spot on the reggae chart, behind only Sean Paul's 'Trinity'. It's a fitting end to Matisyahu's breakout year, in which he has sold out major venues in New York and LA, opened for Trey Anastasio, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and been nominated for two mtvU Woodie Awards.

2006 brings the highly anticipated release of his first major-label studio effort, 'Youth' (Epic/Or Music/JDub), produced by Bill Laswell with additional production by Ill Factor (Ginuwine) and Jimmy Douglass (Missy Elliot, Jay-Z). The album's first single is a blistering studio version of his current hit 'King Without A Crown'.
