Seven Months After Its Release, Matisyahu's 'Live At Stubb's' Debuts on Billboard Top 200
Published November 17, 2005

The last year has seen explosive growth for Matisyahu, who has sold out major concert venues across the country.

In what’s shaping up to be an exciting, old-fashioned regional breakout success story, sales of rising reggae star Matisyahu’s ‘Live at Stubb’s’ album (JDub/Or Music/Epic) have snowballed in the past few weeks in major west coast cities, landing the album on the Billboard 200 for the first time since its April release.  Up and down the west coast, in key markets such Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle, sales jumped 43% overall in the last week, reacting to substantial airplay for the hitbound "King Without a Crown" from top radio stations like LA’s KROQ.

The last year has seen explosive growth for Matisyahu, who has sold out major concert venues across the country, enjoyed press acclaim for LIVE AT STUBB’S and his live performances, and was recently nominated for three MTVu Woodie Awards.
