For the first time since their appearance at the Latin Grammys in 2005, Marc Anthony and wife Jennifer Lopez performed together on Wednesday, August 9 at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The appearance was unbilled and came as a complete surprise to the packed house.
Anthony’s “Juntos In Concierto” tour also features Marco Antonio Solis and Laura Pausini; the tour concludes Saturday, August 12 in Chicago. Solis and Pausini joined him onstage for the New York performance’s finale. Following the tour, Anthony will return to post-production work on his film El Cantante, which also co-stars Lopez. The film, in which Anthony portrays troubled salsa legend Hector Lavoe, is scheduled to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in October.
