Alejandro Fernandez, Chayanne and Marc Anthony, whose critically acclaimed JUNTOS EN CONCIERTO tour has been selling out throughout the country, have announced the creation of JUNTOS PARA AYUDAR, a renaming of their final three concerts in Miami, where proceeds from all front row seats will benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The three superstars kicked-off this first-of-its-kind, 19 show tour on August 17th.
The JUNTOS PARA AYUDAR shows will take place on Saturday, September 17th, Sunday, September 18th and Monday, September 19th at Miami’s American Airlines Arena, where front row seats will sell for $500. Fans who purchase these premium seats will also receive a poster signed by all three stars as well as a generous assortment of promotional items. In addition to donating proceeds from ticket sales, the three stars will also sign a guitar for auction in the near future.
The three stars had this to say, “We’re deeply saddened by the tragedy on the Gulf Coast and shocked to learn that thousands of Latinos are without shelter, food, and basic necessities and that many are separated from their families, We started a food drive in Washington DC and created this Miami JUNTOS PARA AYUDAR initiative which we expect will raise more than $100,000 to aid the victims.”
Produced by Clear Channel Music Group, JUNTOS EN CONCIERTO with Anthony, Fernandez and Chayanne is one of the hottest tours this summer where audiences come together to celebrate Latin music and culture and three of its biggest heroes. Each superstar delivers a searing set of traditional songs, hit tracks and career favorites that kept audiences on their feet for the entire three- hour show. All three stars have recently appeared on ABC’s The View.
Both Chayanne and Fernandez have new albums out in September and November respectively, and Anthony begins principal photography on the Hector Lavoe story shortly.
