21st Century Algerian Roots Music by Fantazia to be Featured on BBC

On Friday September 9, Fantazia recorded a live session for Andy Kershaw's program, for broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on Sunday September 18.

Four songs were recorded: "Tindi," "L'ahbab," "Moussa" and "Zmane," plus an
interview with Andy.

The Kershaw session will be broadcast on Sunday September 18
22.15 to midnight (British Summer Time).

BBC Radio 3 is broadcast throughout the UK on 90-93Mhz FM

Andy has already played four songs on his show from the new CD Mul
Sheshe, and he chose to put Fantazia in his presenter chart in July's
fRoots.

Mul Sheshe will be released on October 3 on Harmonia Mundi's World
Village label.

Mul Sheshe has also had airplay on BBC Radio London, from Gerry
Lyseight and Charlie Gillett, Beur FM Paris, Colin Bass's RBB/WDR
Berlin show Sabah am Sonntag and Resonance FM - Clear Spot = African
Essence (Dj Debbie - aka Debbie Golt and Anne Wanjie).
