Manu Chao To Release New EP This Spring

Nacional Records is proud to announce that Manu Chao will be releasing a special “Politik Kills” remix EP this spring. Thanks to Pitchfork Media, fans can now indulge in exclusive downloads and multimedia.

Set to be released by Nacional Records this spring, Manu Chao’s “Politik Kills” EP will feature a reggae remix collection of the ‘La Radiolina’ track by  artists like UK icons Linton Kwesi Johnson and Dennis Bovell as well as Island Records founder Chris Blackwell and several others. A remix by Prince Fatty is currently available for a free download at www.pitchforkmedia.com. On www.PolitiKills.com, fans can preview tracks from the remix EP and watch the new “Politik Kills” music video. The site also boasts online-exclusive remixes from Bostich  + Fussible of Nortec Collective, along with several interactive features. The site includes commentary from social leaders, writers, artists and more all in the name of reflecting on the misuse and abuse of power plaguing the world.

Manu Chao plans to tour several high-profile U.S. venues this August. Aside from this, he will be performing across his native France this spring for the first time in seven years. His EP will be released at digital outlets on April 22nd, just in time for the Pennsylvania  Presidential primary election, and at stores in CD and vinyl format on  June 3rd.
